Topamax for adult migraine prevention

A migraine headache can cause intense throbbing or a pulsing sensation in one area

of the head and is commonly accompanied by nausea, vomiting, and extreme

sensitivity to light and sound,
which typically affects one half of the head.

(prophylaxis) of migraine 
headaches in adolescents ages 12 to 17. It widens the blood vessels

in the brain which become restricted by increased serotonin levels. It has been found

to be increasingly effective for migraine sufferers with limited side effects.
Topamax relativlly the best medication for prevention of migraine , there are also other

medications for

prevention as sodium valproate, propranolol, and metoprolol,Amitriptyline and venlafaxine

The common side effects :


  • Dizziness nausea ,depression , fatigue , somnolence
